OPERATIONS/PROCEDURES: Posterior fossa craniotomy; tumor resection; frontal reconstructive surgery; bifrontal craniotomy with repair of dural defect using frontal sinus obliteration; cranial fixation of frontal bone fracture

PATIENT CONDITION: Satisfactory

Dear Parent,

These are the instructions you are to follow after you leave the hospital. Please read them carefully. If there is anything you do not understand, ask the physician or nurse.

ACTIVITY: As able. No bicycle riding, roller-skating, ice-skating, or other activities where potential for falling is high.

DIET: For age

FOLLOW-UP CARE: Medical staple removal post-op days 10–14, MRI post-op months 2–3. Outpatient physical therapy 2–3x per week for work on balance and coordination. Medications: Ferrous sulfate 325 mg by mouth 3x per day; Colace 100 mg by mouth 3x per day.
